This sprawling 20000 square feet villa in Bhubneswar is designed as a Spanish colonial style home. Located on a busy street, the villa is set back to create a buffer from the noisy road. The blueprint is planned around an open to sky central courtyard with ancillary spaces around it. Corinthian columns designed on the entry façade make a statement, emulating a Venetian glamour to the structure. These considerations of design extend to the interior, in search of a harmony between the archaic elements such as arches, columns and earthy material palette. To create a balanced design, the tonality of all the elements is simplified in both the interior and the exterior.
